They averaged about 500 fans a game this year. Imagine the inroads we could make with that type of crowd. Surely we would be a tournament mainstay.

Choosing to not go watch the entire team, as a protest over 1 coach.

I get being frustrated with 1 coach, but being absent send the message you don't like the whole team, including the players.

C’mon. You know that if the fans just show up no matter what the administration has no incentive to ever make a change. Brownell is symptomatic of an overly patient fanbase and an AD who isn’t concerned with results. His endorsement of Brownell is forcing anyone who cares to lash out. Right or wrong - a lot of people took last years letter as Neff acknowledging our frustrations and establishing a reasonable expectation for a 13th year head coach. To pretend this season met the standards he outlined AND announce a $40 million initiative that would we modeled after Brownell’s wishes - it’s wholly unacceptable.

Doesn't really matter what I go see - they (or Brownell) have no equitable responsibility to me.

Someone posted today saying (paraphrasing) that he's keeping the coach because the fans are ok with it.

I've been in several situation where until people "voted with their feet and wallets" nothing changed.
