If the pitchers could keep the ball in the park it wouldn't matter! When you throw 90mph down the middle of the plate you ain't gonna be in the game long! Philly's pitchers are doing a great job and the Braves not so much. The Braves also picked a great time to go cold with the bats!

With that being said, Strider tonight and Fried Saturday gives the Braves all they could ask for. Everything is right there for them to take, that's all you can ask for!

First off, if true - and I don’t doubt it as it while it was the same thing I said to my TV when they doubled up Harper to win game 2 - it does seem odd since every post game interview I’ve seen with Arcia (along with Acuna and Rosario) required the Braves team interpreter. Maybe Harper speaks Spanish?
Second, why does it take smack talk from an opponent to raise your game to that level? Sounds like full of himself Brycey must just be going through the motions and slacking for his million$.
Lastly, like the other folks here have said, Braves need to start hitting the damb ball like they have been. And like the Phillies are doing now!

Harpers millions weren't slacking last year when he was cranking homeruns left and right. He had a great game after a player ran his mouth, you are just upset and should move on. Also Clemson lives off bulletin material soooooo...

make millions when he entered the league many years ago. But all that doesn’t automatically grant you or translate to character. He has been a punk since day one, and still continues to be an arrogant, obnoxious punk today.
I don’t need to look at stats or numbers other than the ones showing how the Braves finished 14 games ahead of Harper’s team - I think in the head to head series, Braves won like 7 or 8 games to 5 or 4 games for Philly - to include clinching the Division in Philly.
Sure, it means nothing if the Braves lose the NLDS to Philly, but you tip your hat TO THE TEAM, not this punk, and move on.
But Harper will still be the punk that he has always been to me.
