I watched him earlier in the season and the kid imo very very good. I'm glad we offered because pulling James Robinson from Florida is gonna be hard now that UF is getting better. Smith is gonna be a very good college wr

My future father in law is the Offensive line coach at Wando, Ortre is the real deal. I have gone to a few of there games and he is the go to guy, other teams know that and still can not stop him. He is also a genuine humble young man. He fits the Clemson mold to the "T".

Watch it now..... We're trying lol. I see us winning one more. I possibly vs James island. It truly is sad we do well in pretty much everything except football. Noonan needs bust a Spurrier and leave. Players seem to love him, but the team is going nowhere fast. There is nothing Wando lacks to develop player. Well.... Except coaching...... GO WARRIORS!!!!

I know it's not popular to compare kids to old coot players, but he looks like an alshon Jeffery clone on flim. He is a guy that doesn't look like he will wow you with his speed or ath ability but he uses his body so well and just does a great job of finding and attacking the football.

Rod used to come over to my condo at Clemson and chill alot. He was a great Clemson player and a master at catching the deep ball, but ortre seems to be way ahead of him at this stage in his career. Rod played qb in hs. Plus think the passing game has delevop so much since then.

Cauthen, S. Smith, O. Smith will attend Clemson. Robinson has a good chance but our receivers need to show a little more this year.

Robinson is the stud of the group and Coach Scott is on him hard. We gonna need a player like Shi Smith who's fast and shifty when A Scott goes pro. I'm all about Ortre smith he's a gamer.

Kid plays not too far from here. A few weeks ago against our local monster program Havelock, they lost buy it wasn't on him. I think it was like 49-48 loss.

I think he is probably a 4.7 guy right now but once he gets to Clemson and takes the weight training seriously, one of 2 things will happen. 1. He will become a powerful 220 guy with maybe high 4.5 speed/ low 4.6 2. He will become a rock at 245-250 and play a heck of a TE.
He is a better more athletic Brandon Ford.

4.6 maybe but no way he is 4.7. 4.6 is like a slow fast guy. 4.7 is a fast slow guy lol.

Haha, Overton ran a 4.7 last time he was timed. 4.7 is slow for college but is average for high school like 4.5 is average for college. I think it was Louis Murphy from UF that ran a 4.7 and is still in the NFL. Larry Fitzgerald ran a 4.63 40 and look at his career. Probably a 4.6,4.7 guy out of HS. It is perfectly reasonable that he runs a 4.7 in high school as a JUNIOR.

My son is his high jump track coach. After working on his form he cleared 6'6" last year but cleared the bar by about 4". According to my son he could clear a 7'0" bar on a perfect jump. Wando has also put him on the 4 x 100 team. He grades are great. His attitude perfect. He is humble and works hard. Sounds like a perfect fit for Clemson. He 6'4" and a beast catching the ball.

been to a game yet this year. Hoping to make it to one soon just to watch him - the rest of the team stinks.
Every time I look at the HS scores in the paper the dude has 200+ yards. My mother in law says they are getting faxes (still a thing apparently) about him from every school in the southeast.
