I guess tackling a defender counts as blocking for Bama....

They act like they didn't get TDs off of missed penalties.

I saw several plays where they just tackled and flopped on defenders. Not to mention the targeting and late hits, especially in the first quarter.

Interesting because this is just one of a few. My question would be if this was a consistent "no call" in the big 12 or was it just this game.

Also, second thought is I wonder if this is a technique that is taught at bama. I say I lean towards a technique because it happened quite a bit last years game.

Their other TE tackled on their final QB's TD run... When you wrap around someone's torso, it's a tackle. Bama TEs seem to get a pass from the SEC games I've watched in the past. They got at least two the other night.

Their tackles were hooking our ends all game long. They literally did "just let them play". We see it in playoff football & hockey all the time. I'm just happy to have gotten away with the win! It stings less when you get the W.
