Preseason Top 10 team you're not buying ?

For me it is Texas A&M .

Mond leaving was a big hit , and they just weren't good enough WITH him to keep me from scratching my head as to who is ranking this team in the top 10 of the 2021 season .
Do SEC shills get 3 votes each in the preseason polls or what ?
Somebody with more football knowledge than I please lay out a good argument for Jimbo and the Ags to deserve such a lofty rank .

There is no way to explain it!
It just boils down to the SEC has to several teams in the preseason polls to prop it up for once the season starts- it then falls back on SOS and the more teams that are ranked- the more the pundits can say that the conference eats themselves during league play.

A&M, LSU went from 15-0 to 5-5 and find themselves in the top 15- they must have spiked the gumbo!

2. Clemson
3. Ohio State
4. Oklahoma
5. Georgia
6. Notre Dame
7. Texas A&M
8. Florida
9. Iowa State
10. Cincinnati

10. Cincy - these teams always seem to flame out and projections are made off of previous seasons momentum.

8. Florida was overrated last season, lost 4 games! They will take a step back this season too. I think Bowman failed the marshmallow test.

6. ND is just a team people want to be in the top ten.

Honestly after the top-5, the dropoff is immense. It's all a crapshoot.

ND and Florida lost way too much but could make some noise
Iowa State and Cincy could be good but they have to prove they'll show up again and not be a fluke
Texas A&M has the horses but losing Mond is big. But who else is there?

College Football is Bama, Clemson, OSU and Oklahoma. UGA is knocking on he door (as usual). But that's it....everyone else is playing for participation trophies.

There is always a huge dropoff. That is why an expanded playoff makes no sense if the reason is to give more teams a chance. Just call it for what it is...more $.
