QB and WR

We just aren't there yet.

Cade is progressing nicely, but is still inexperienced. We have some bright spots at wide receiver, but they are young and inexperienced.

Anyone notice how Alabama doesn't look as formidable this year? Good yes, but not dominant. They don't have a good QB and their receivers are nothing like previous years.

Of course you need some playmamers all over the field, but to be dominant in today's college football you must have a top tier QB and top tier WRs.

We don't yet. This has been our biggest problem for the last 3 years.

Receivers made lots of great catches yesterday. Best all year.

Our great catches are like 10-20 yarders. We don't have anyone right now that can take the top off and hit a 75 yard homerun. Maybe Brown can be that, but I don't know right now.

We're still near the bottom of the FBS in explosive plays.

You’re exactly right. Look at the Buckeyes. They have a freakish WR group. But their QB is not what they’ve had in the past, so they are struggling.

Dabo needs to find 2 wideouts from somewhere that can stretch the field with speed to compliment Williams and Brown for 24’. I can’t wait to see what Riley’s offense looks like unlocked.
