Question about Quarterbacks...not CK hate

Why is it that most top 20 schools can take a top 10 or 20 quarterback out of high school and turn them into a top 2 o3 collegiate QB, but we take a top 5 HS QB and then they become average? I am not convinced that our QBs don't have talent, just that they aren't coached on how to best utilize it. Or could it be mostly accredited to the lack of protection by the OL?

The offensive line is a significant part of the problem.......so is not having gamebreaking receivers........so is not having a gamebreaking running back.
