is going to be extremely talented with the return of TD, Ruke, XT, Phillips, Jones, and incoming freshmen Parker and Woods. I can't wait to watch this group on the field. I also believe Woodaz will fill Trenton Simpsons vacancy very nicely. I already cannot wait for the first game of the season!

Things do suddenly look a lot more optimistic on defense. Our DC needs to shine this season. No excuses.

Question about Woodazz.

Is he going to be a safety, a linebacker or a hybrid that can switch back and forth? I thought he was a LB, but seemed to get more PT at safety as the season went along? Was that due to injuries or was it the plan all along.?

I believe he is going to be a LB, but was used this year in other positions due in part to injury and his overall athletic ability. The biggest surprise to me was his ability to cover receivers as well as he did.
