What a bummer. Interesting thing about Ray Guy is that he supposedly also had a rocket for an arm. He was on the deoth chart as QB....maybe 4th, but he was an option. RIP

I can name two Punters from the 80’s - Ray Guy because …well, Ray Guy. And Reggie Roby because …well, Dolphins. Now I’m doubly sad as Insee Reggie died at 43 in 2005.

I read where he kicked it 90 feet in the air and hit the scoreboard in the Superdome. Just seemed like the guy that made a punter important in the game of football. Others have kicked farther for average, but he changed the game
