mentions us making the final five cut on these elite recruits, it’s always Clemson and either Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Ohio State FSU and Notre Dame...pretty impressive list. Very few mention Scar. They must not be aware of Heisman Bentley.

Anyway. As a rule, each of these school can only take an average of 25, and, assume with this completion, we only get 25% minimum of these, that will be a pretty impressive recruiting class.

As a side note, every five, four, and some three star recruits list Alabama. What would they do if tomorrow each one of them called Alabama and said they commit?

SEC teams never let little things like a 25 limit stop them. Sign and cull. Plus they get away with it

Not all recruits get commitable offers from all schools and some may list a team in their top group even if they have no offer just to try to increase their profile.

You’re correct in saying that SCar isn’t in these guys top 5. However, CU and SCar seem to be in need for total opposite positions. SCar has a very good shot with a lot of talented D Linemen in this class, especially with Pickens out of Hanna. They’re landing guys I think we’d have a shot at if we hadn’t recruited the #1 guy at those positions years prior. With that being said, Clemson can and will continue to beat SCar on the recruiting trail as well as the field! Clemson gets #5 in a row this November!!

It seems like they might be slow-playing some DL guys, and waiting to see how they continue to develop. There are some guys that they've backed off on that we've been in good position for early for various reasons as well.

Keep in mind with those DL recruits that a year from now they might have just watched the best DL ever and 4 DL from one team drafted in the first round, VERY likely at least 2 will be first rounders. We will impress A LOT of recruits in this next draft and leave them thinking they have a great shot at early playing time to fill the void.
