the darndest things and aren't any different today - Was giving a 6 year old girl a test this morning and she loudly passed gas. She then laughed very loudly and said, "I fahted". Then laughed again and said, "I can smell it....and it's gwoss!" And I am still doing this 20 years after retirement eligibility?

Except was a show called Captain Ashby. Someone else claimed it was on Mr Knozit.
I wonder if this is one of those urban legends, like that bad kid everyone had in their neighborhood who was so mean that he tied cats together by their tails and hung them over the clothesline to fight.

I've told that story numerous times and will continue but I do believe it's a myth.

A little girl just started giggling, and Mr. Knozit(Joe Pinner) asks, "What are laughing about?" She wouldn't say, so he asks again, "What's so funny?" Then she finally says, "Leroy pooted!"

Loved People Are Funny. Got off the school bus and flicked on the TV and watched. The Kids Say the Darndest Things segment, was hilarious. I used to wonder if the kids weren’t coached on what to say.

I'll tell you one better than that. Many years ago I had to take our six year old daughter to the eye doctor. We entered, signed in and sat down in the waiting room. I was flipping through a magazine and she was sitting next to me in a smaller child's wooden chair. She was wiggling and squirming and all of a sudden she ripped one off. It sounded like a bed sheet ripping. Everyone heard it, she calmly turned pointed and looked at me and said "He Did It".
