$231.81 for season tickets in 2023 would be a steal.***

That was my sophomore year. The kids used to slide down the hill on cardboard and play football on it during the games.

Love the way the schedule says "Here" and "There" for home and away games.

That since 1961 Clemson and Florida haven't talked about playing. Someone backed out. Could be both. I don't really think having another rival would be good. Hell, everyone we play that is somewhat "good" thinks we are bitter rivals cuz we played them hard. Geezz

So the Coots on Nov.11 before Furman and NC State. Odd. I know about Big Thursday but when did it move to last game of season permanently.

I think it was 1965 because I went to the game in Columbia as a student. We lost by a point since there was no overtime and we elected to go for the two-pointer and didn't make it. After the game the reporters asked Coach Howard why he didn't go for the PAT and tie the game. He said, "A tie is like kissing your sister!"

After some research I'm going to correct myself. 1962 was the first time Clemson/Carolina game was played as the last regular game, however, it was still played in Columbia. The 1963 (24-20 Tiger win), 1964 (7-3 loss for Clemson) and 1965 (a 17-16 loss for the tigers) games were at the end of the regular season, but still in Columbia. 1966 was the first year the game was played in Death Valley which the tigers won 35-10.
