Seeking advice from TI subscribers (current and former)

Is the membership worth it?
Is there really any information available within TI that I'm sorely missing out on?
I'm curious as to how they could obtain special information that that other site mods/writers don't have access to.

I also just enjoy reading Larry Williams' articles in interviews. He's one of the best journalists/writers covering Clemson athletics IMO.

YES
YES
One you learn which posters are credible on their message board, that alone will be worth the membership.
Larry Williams is more in the know than any Clemson source around and has been even before he went to work for TI

It seems to be worth that, at least.
Do they get into baseball and golf at all?

They will get into baseball after NSD, an article by Larry Williams was done today. Not golf, on the message board some of the members keep us up to date though.

I also like that I can get a gift card and a new email address every two weeks for unlimited free trials on Rivals.

I am a former subscriber. Dropped my subscription over a year agoe.
Cris does a good job under his restrictions that he has to work under(Former IPTAY Member), that limits his personal contact with recruits, I believe.
1 guess who turned him in(KornCOOT), violation occured while Cris was employed by KornCOOT a long time agoe.
Ryan is GREAT at his job.
Larry Williams is a good writer but admittedly does not pull for Clemson(Again this AM on Mickey Plyler's show).
Larry Williams Graduated from South Carolina, he can tell me until he is Garnet in the face that he is unbiased and I will NEVER believe him.
I decided to drop my TI subscription the week of the Clemson AT VT 2011 game because they decided to not send someone to cover the Game. They got all of their content from the VT Rivals guy.
It became very clear on Mickey's show on Monday morning which game that LW watched live, Clemson and SC played at the same time. All he did was talk about what the announcers said on TV during the SC game.
LW is a GOOD writer, "I" just don't need a SC Grad telling me his oppinion all the time about Clemson.
I know this was long but that is my reasoning for leaving.

Absolutely. Bartow is as plugged in to recruiting as anyone you'll find. Larry has a great take on sports in general. Ard is kind of the maestro, I guess. There are some posters on the WZ that have some good sources. Stay away from the Bad Apple.

I'm not sure if they are pumpers... they may pump each other.
I left the site for that reason. A select group of know-it-alls who ran the show on that site. When I pay for membership, no half wit is going to take away my privileges.

You ought to support it. If you do it once in a blue moon, no.
