led by Millie the Silly, who are more interested in their OCD's and how things appear than in reality of playing the game. Millie out there huffing and puffing and then losing is the latest example. Power hitters have become slap hitters because they take 2 strikes and are in a hole, a couple of the girls seem like they just do not want to be there any more. I wonder what happened to this team??

Millie has always had energy in the circle. That is her as a player. You can’t take that away from her.

Exactly, She seemed to lose that at the beginning of the season and struggled on the mound. lately she's started getting that attitude and has pitched pretty good. she just gave up the one hit. they way I see it, is the fielding has struggled the entire season but not until recently has it cost us some games. ND scored 6 runs in that game and only one of the was earned. Brook has struggled the entire season. Spencer has been the most constant pitcher the entire season that includes over Valerie. Valerie just seems like since her return from the undisclosed illness she has struggled with stamina. although she did pitch the entire game Saturday, she gave up more urns that she normally does.

This senior heavy team has regressed, unfortunately. Transfers are good, but terribly inconsistent. No freshman are big contributors. Inconsistency is the Achilles heel on this team. No hitting discipline. Recruiting and coaching need improvement. There are two head coaches(one former). Should be better. Cagle is the only game changer recruit thus far.

Easy. Just because a team was good in previous years means nothing to the current year. Different players and different opponents change everything and that is why winning year after year is so hard.

Maybe what they have needed is a little fun! Actually, if you dig a little deeper, our pitching has been pretty consistent. I hate when a blow hard gets on here and attacks players. Pitchers have to be able to give up runs and hits. Why has Oklahoma been so successful? Easy, their pitchers can pitch without the pressure of every game being tight. I would have Regan and Millie “lead” a team for me any day. At least with them you can see that they are trying. Without those two and without Valerie being consistent in the lineup, this season could have been much worse.

and the inability to get the bats going when they're needed most.

Pitching hasn't been that bad. Regan has been killing it. Millie has done well. Brooke has generally done well, other than a rough spot there in the middle of the season. And Val just hasn't been able to get some consistency going.

But infield/defensive errors and timely base hits - that's been our issue.
