Tyler Brown was excellent on a poor Offense, but I have to go with TJ Parker who excelled on a high quality Defense.

That's a tough list because of the positives for each but I'll go:
Brown - offense
Parker - defense
Of those 2, my biggest surprise was Brown because the offense needed a lot more help than the defense and Brown stepped up.

HUGE.
And after further reflection, Parker is a somewhat close #2. I didn't think any freshman would be a potential starter on the defensive line. Thought our DE room was too loaded.
