Actually he was better at Miami then what they have now as far as record, and now they are putting money in program and have NIL $.

I think it's a decent hire for a place like Duke.

I think people will realize sooner rather than later that Elko is a higher tier HC.

Saying someone may not be as good as him, isn’t that much of a sleight.

Probably right but we will find out in a couple of years. I think we will see that Elko is a good coach but also was lucky. Like having the gem of a QB fall in his lap.

I will be shocked if he lasts more than 3 years. I would set the over/under at 3.5 and take the under.

I think he won't last more than 2 years, but since I'm getting to set the odds I'll give myself a cushion and say 3.

Would not be hard to get in 3 at a school where fans live and breathe basketball and when you die one is put in your coffin to take with you.

Duke isn't that quick to fire bad coaches.

Maybe they will have a quicker hook now with the portal, but I doubt they have money lined up for NIL in football.

I think they have just given up on football to be honest. If you are not a top 12 program your basically a feeder program.
