Was ecstatic on the hire. If anyone follows college baseball closely you’d say the same. This team has frustrated and will do some more than likely. But remember we are young and if this is montes guys and new coach is doing what he can. This culture is different and the fight. That absolutely changed overnight from day one. No denying that. I hope this is only the beginning. Still ways to go. Let’s stay hot.

I think he will be good for Clemson but it’s way too early to tell. Monte had a great first season then went steadily down hill.

Here is what I’ll say on monte. Chickens are excited in what monte has done. Not saying he is horrible coach. Sometimes people are better as an assistant. I will be interested in to see if this carries on in the future. Meaning his long ball philosophies with the program. He has guys who are built for the long ball this year. Let’s see if it lasts. I don’t think it will.
