so what happens if....

the coots are undefeated when they come to death valley and clemson's only loss is only to FSU and they beat the coots, who in turn turnaround to beat an unbeaten alabama team in the sec championship game? it's all conjecture and truly way too early to discuss, just food for thought.

ok, say both clemson and south carolina win out until they meet in november, what happens if clemson beats usuc and then usuc goes on to beat an undefeated bama team in the SEC championship game? you'd have bama, usuc, and clemson all sitting with one loss from one of the other two. my point is that i can see usuc getting the nod for the national championship game due to winning the sec, and clemson sitting on the outside looking in due to our garbage conference even with a win over usuc. like i said before its way too early to discuss anyways, but the thought popped in my head and i wanted to ask my fellow tigers what they thought may happen were that scenario to play out.

exactly my point. its not like im saying we'd see a rematch of clemson-usuc in the national championship game b/c i imagine there will very likely be at least one undefeated team from another conference and we all know that the winner of the sec championship game (even with one loss) will play for the 'ship.

and everyone thought I am crazy... I think we have a shot @ NC and especially if FSU loses a game which is likely with two roads games at VT (thursday) and @ miami.

well i don't think you're crazy. it is definitely possible for clemson to play in the title, just not probable. its too bad we cant even talk positively about our team on a website dedicated to clemson without people calling us crazy or patronizing us. do i think it will happen? most likely not. but that won't stop me from hoping for the best.

oh i know this all too well unfortunately. our SOS blows. it would be one hell of a crappy scenario though. the thought of it makes me sick to my stomach.
