a tag on a runner coming into a base or to home plate! Put the ball/glove down on the base/plate and let the runner slide into it. Over and over this year we have had players make high tags or swipe tags while the foot or hand of the runner goes straight to the bag! Minor detail....but it matters!

The rule has changed so much nobody really knows what the proper way is anymore.

bring back old school rules. Let the catcher block the plate, but at his own risk.
