Have a friend at work that loves to fish and was fishing 2 different trails weekly. Wylie has become so crowded he sold his boat and has gotten into these carp tournaments. Guy makes decent money in those deals.

the year - live on a cove where they drop the water level all winter and it isn't deep enough to keep my pontoon in right now. Crappie usually start coming in around March 1st so that was what I was checking for. Caught one other smaller bass and hooked one that felt a good bit bigger but the jig is so small that I am lucky to hold onto one stuck in the lip.

IMO,there is no better fresh water fish for eating than Crappie, but I haven't been able to go fishing for them in years, and that means I haven't had any Crappie to eat in years. I have to settle for Flounder from Sam's, and it's a poor substitute for Crappie. I envy you Clover65!!!
