In 2003, Rick Stockstill left as the longtime WR coach at Clemson to become the OC @ ECU. Dabo applied for the position offered to him by Tommy Bowden and got it. I cringe to ponder what Clemson would have become if Rick Stockstill had stayed at Clemson and Dabo would have never come.

So what does this position do? Is it basically an offensive analyst like Chad Morris was doing or is Stockstill scouting opponents pregame like Michigan but I assume the legal version.

It’s crazy how bloated college football and basketball staffs are. It is amazing the money programs like Clemson FSU and every other major program has to throw around for past players or coaches to “ come back home “. Was noticing at one of Clemson s home basketball games it looked as if there was a staff member for every player. You can’t hardly see the sideline at a Clemson home game because of all the staff members. It’s amazing these programs can make payroll considering most sports lose money.
