I was planning on parking at County Square, getting there between 10 & 10:30 and doing some tailgating before the game. Anyone know if there would be any issues doing some tailgating in Greenville on Saturday. I hadn't tried during the last few games in Greenville.
Why wouldn't you just head to any of the bars located right next to the stadium. Liberty is a little expensive, but they have several new bars and restaurants close.
I don't know about tailgating in the County Square. Never done it. Never thought about doing it because I was in downtown Greenville, SC (one of the most underrated downtowns in the country)
I agree Greenville has a great downtown. I myself would love to hang out in a nearby bar.
Unfortunately, I have a group of around 10 people, coming from 4 different cities, who all want to enjoy each other's company for a more extended period of time than just the game, but the group itself has a number of challenges.
Some people drink, others do not. I have people who are gluten free, lactose free, and vegetarian. Some won't eat any seafood. Some won't eat any ethnic food, or are just plain picky.
It is a challenging group to please, and one in which I can control each person's individual needs better in a tailgate atmosphere than I can trying to pick a bar/restaurant that will please everyone.
