My Thoughts EXACTLY. What kind of bouncer requires medical attention after being shoved. Goodness, did Tajh shove him under a moving vehicle? Geez, that would have been just another night at the old Sloan Street Tap Room! A shove? At Sloan Street you had shove someone for the privilege to get to the bar! What a complete TOOL! He just thought that he was going to milk Tajh for $.

in court!! The case should've been dismissed because it was blown out of proportion by a coot coward that recognized Tajh and wanted to make a name for himself amongst his coot cohorts!! Toss it out!!

WHO was the "victim" in this situation
sounds like the restitution paid was sufficient, so we know the charges weren't filed purely on principal

"Dirty Laundry", we all think that we are entitled to "know the real Truth". The reality is, is that we have no right to know squat. This matter has to do with him, the dude that was pushed, the Bar and the cops........no one else. Unless you have some personal dealing with Boyd and it affects you or your children, then we don't need to know. He has been the best ambassador for Clemson and a model citizen.........let it go..........he deserves it.

This must be a big wimp. From a push. He new Tajh has a little monie, so he decides to be hurt. This should have not gotten anywhere near this point. Good luck Tajh, your the bigger Man God Bless, the Tigernut6912

Uhh. Bigger man?

Guy A: Reports incident to cops Guy B: Agrees to do 40 hours of community service, to pay restitution for Guy A's medical bills, and to remain on good behavior all in exchange for charges being dismissed.
And Tajh is the bigger man?
I mean, if it's all bogus why wouldn't Tajh want his name fully cleared?

I don't know the truth of what happened, but you talk as if going through the ringer of charges and a trial is all so easily endured in order to clear one's name. The simple fact is that the legal system is very often used as gov't sanctioned extortion in the civil courts, and blackmail in the criminal courts. It's not at all hard to understand why one would capitulate in such a situation, b/c litigation is expensive, and taxing emotionally, psychologically, and time-wise, and sometimes the cost of front end deals is a simpler road.

I agree with most everything you say here.

except for this part: gov't sanctioned extortion in the civil courts, and blackmail in the criminal courts
But ok, whatever. My response simply contained the facts of the matter in response to this:
This must be a big wimp. From a push. He new Tajh has a little monie, so he decides to be hurt. This should have not gotten anywhere near this point. Good luck Tajh, your the bigger Man God Bless, the Tigernut6912
So lemme make my point more clear: Why would Tigernut6912 state (and many others insinuate) that Tajh has ZERO culpability here and that he's a victim of a money grab? Tajh has a little monie? Maybe. Maaaaybe. Little is probably the operative word, relatively speaking. I mean, like that PRO FOOTBALL money isn't exactly what he has. The guy must be a big wimp? Why on earth would someone think that?
I wasn't there either. But I'm not going to accuse someone of being involved in a money grab any quicker than I'm not going to convince myself that TB was or was not in any wrong here. I simply don't know.
Still haven't connected the dots on why Tajh is a bigger man.

And let me add:
Sep 21, 2016, 3:30 PM
|
|
I assume the POLICE made this agreement with TB rather than the victim, considering the charges were criminal.
Why would the POLICE cut a deal with him to pay restitution, serve community service, and remain on good behavior?
I'll help: It's because they didn't want to hassle with the case as it's petty relatively speaking....but at the same time I think they knew AND Tajh knew that he didn't want the details to get out and to have to face the charges because there was SOME chance of a conviction.
Otherwise they would have just thrown out the case due to a lack of evidence or whatever.

Basically all this guy was wanting was $$$$. If he had injuries, he would not have waited 2-3 weeks to place charges!! Just a shame!!!!!

Attorney presents related medical bill to other attorney. They agree, payment is made in amount of medical bill.

I'm pretty sure this is how it works: Hey, you can settle this now by doing the community service and paying a few bucks OR You can start a lengthy and expensive legal battle to prove your point, and look worse in the end.
Lets see, community service and $1000 for a few legal bills OR $20,000 to engage in litigation that will only bring lots more bad press while it is drawn out!
Unfortunately THAT is exactly how it works in today's society. Corporations do it everyday. Settle the darn thing and move on. Choose the less expensive and less damaging option. Shoot the lawyers.

Putting Tajh in an impossible spot, either pay the creep, or go through a long and arduous criminal process. Unfortunately this is the "Litigation Lottery" society we live in, and anyone who is perceived to have money has to walk on egg shells to keep from being sued. This is what keeps insurance companies and lawyers in business...

No he pushed through and I think he had PTSD when he saw a large bouncer try and deny him entry. 90% on 3rd and Short.
