I had the surgery and am home recuperating. All went well and the plate and screws are out. I am having to type one handed because the nerve block has not worn off. Looks like a good day for Clemson. Go Tigers!

Good for you! Keep in mind that the holes left by the screws will serve as stress risers or weak points in the bones until they are healed, typically 4-6 weeks.

home with my arm in a sling, and hand wrapped up like a club. A club which, when I leaned forward and then back into my recliner, proceeded to swing and smack me upside my head, I was powerless to stop the arm from swinging, surprise, surprise! I can laugh about it now, but it twarn't funny at the time none atall too.
