SEC will have all the money they need to bring in whoever they want. Us, FSU, Miami, NC, another NC team, UVa and VT. Maybe head after Ok. St or TCU. Who knows, but if 8 would blow up the ACC, we'd have two true 24 team super conferences very quickly I believe, likely 3 with leftovers heading to the Big XII

it's not the SEC vs. the B1G. It's FOX/NBC/CBS vs. ESPN... period. I also believe the B1G has the upper hand (look at ESPN layoffs and state of DIS right now).

B1G will come for the South, b/c FOX will tell them to based on what adding Clem/FSU/Miami will do for the next contract.

SEC/ESPN is in a tough spot, imo. You either go after Clem/FSU-- which really add no value to your TV deal... or, you are proactive, look past the biggest brands, and go after UNC/UVA.

Either way, the B1G (via FOX) is coming to the South

If FOX wants to become an equal player to ESPN in college football, they have to cover southern teams. The easiest way to do that is with their B1G alliance.
