Some schools just aren’t good in the postseason in certain sports. For us that’s baseball and basketball. No matter how the season goes we will stink it up in postseason. Thank goodness for football

Sad losing to a team with 27 losses, but that’s how the game goes

True but it’s a generation ago. It’s the reason my expectations are so off center. Anybody over 40 expects great. Anybody under has never seen us be great. Taking liberties with the exact dates but you see my point.

Boys and girls need to throw something other than a strike with two on two out and two strikes.Killed giving up 3 run dingers.

They looked like they played - Gassed. Guess they knew they should have won last night and just couldn't recover. I feel for these guys. They had quite a run.
Come on football season.
Go Tigers.

For some perspective, this team achieved the equivalent of Lee’s ‘16 team with the ACC title, but honestly that was the beginning of a talented team going into a decline. I really feel like under Bakich, baseball will have better success ahead once he gets his roster more complete. Great strides were made with the culture already. I’m disappointed but I do think better success is around the bend.

Had same thought. Eerily similar. Get to Omaha with best players in the world and get rocked. At least then we could win at home I guess.

It is so hard to win under any circumstances, but to recover from last night and have to face more pitchers like Charlotte had was more than we could muster up. Great first year for Coach Bakich and the future looks bright.

Very disappointing to lose your own regional. At least the g cvs packing needs where the weaknesses is and who they need to recruit (hint-starts with the letter p). I hope Charlotte beats Tenn to force an extra game.

I startedvto post a smart a$$ remark about us being knocked out of our own reginal again, but had time to reflect upon our season. I am definitely not a sunshine pumper, but our guys did overachieve this season. The guys fought their tails offbut came up short. I can live with that. My hope is that they remember how this feels and work during the off-season to come back and avenge this loss.

Why is anyone talking like Charlotte deserved to beat us? We’re Clemsoning once again.

Reflecting on "a quiet end" - we'll never know what noise there could have been if not for a rogue attention mongering umpire.

After all, the season started not so good, and then they came back in spectacular fashion. Thing is, winning like 16 games in row is really hard to do and eventually, your gonna lose a couple. Just the timing was off.
Anyway, program is in a good place and now we await Fall Sports and drink'in beer and eating chicken wings.
