Could Brownell be a candidate at Louisville...?

They want someone to run a clean program. Is that CBB?
He is under appreciated here and can get the budget and money that the Judge says he needs to win at a top program?
Would he use negoations with them to leverage to get a bigger contract here?
How much more would Neff pay him to keep him?

Now is a Midwest guy and would recruit guys in the Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky area. Could you imagine him Alex Hemenway was still in Indiana he would have been closer to home if he signed with the Cards?
Brad also could go head to head with Calapari.
Here is an interesting question, let's say what would have happened if he never was hired at Clemson and let's say had two really good more years at Wright State and was hired at at Louisville or Indiana. How would he have done at blue blood school in the midwest?

Boring, Wholesome, X and O Guy vs The NBA’s College Power Broker.
Mr. “KJ McDaniels left early cuz he was ready for the NBA!” vs Mr. “Yeah, My Players have made over $2.5 Billion in NBA Earnings.”
Oh, Calipari will be shaking in his boots! He can’t compete with Bradley!!!

In 2011 Matt Painter at Purdue was that close to taking the Missouri job. Brad was expected to be the top candidate there after only two seasons at Clemson. Probably closest he was to ever getting hired by a top school I guess...

Brad has coached 4 of 20 seasons in the Midwest

at Wright St., a low major. The other 16 have been in the Southeast, UNCW and here.
He may have grown up there, but he hasn't recruited there much. And never for big time talent

Maybe on the coaching side the years have swayed east, but he grew up basketballing in Indiana, and those kind of roots don't leave a person. An ACC and southern recruiting background over the past decade would only add to his panache as a candidate in those parts.

If Louisville hired Brownell, their fans would burn that colosseum to the ground.
