Alex Murdaugh found guilty on all counts.

Sentencing will be in the morning.
Convicted without any DNA evidence and no murder weapon.
The cell phone and OnStar data, plus him lying about being at the kennels shortly before the murders, did him in.

He did it, he’s a cold blooded lying murderer.
I initially thought it may have been somebody seeking revenge in relation the boat accident, but seeing his testimony and how he obviously was garnering for sympathy too often.
The fact that he was at the crime scene at basically all times when it happened makes it clear. Plus him lying about it.

they did a #### poor job and got away with it. I've listened to some defense lawyers say that a guilty verdict with such little amount of physical evidence is very concerning.

It’s a new day and the police aren’t all that matters. Electronic data ultimately did him in along with his lying and clear attempts afterward to influence testimony of caregiver and housekeeper.

They got lucky that he chose to testify himself. We will never know, but I believe he removed all doubt when he decided to testify in his defense.

Isn't that like the number 1 rule in a murder trial? Don't put yourself on the stand?...Sheer arrogance or just reeks of desperation in my opinion...A murdering, lying, stealing, corrupt lawyer....I hope he burns in hell.

Ha! What do you expect a defense lawyer to say. I would expect nothing less. While it is always helpful to have direct evidence to assist the prosecution, it is not a requirement. Plenty of circumstantial evidence has always been able to do trick since the common law sprang forth from the Magna Carta.

Talked about the case to at least 3 people. 1 or more of those people snitched on her.

I thought it be like OJ's trial with the "if the glove doesn't fit, you cannot convict" since there was no gun and there would be a hung jury. Turns out when Murdaugh got on the stand and said he lied, he was history.

In my mind, he was at least complicit in the murders, bringing it upon his family. Time to pay the piper.

Guilty as sin. The Deputy AG did a great job. He had to take over a fairly sloppy job by the local cops and solicitor and try to salvage the investigation. Alex should have been interviewed at the sheriffs office that night while the CSI detectives and forensic techs cordoned off the entire Moselle estate and kept it as a crime scene for days, not hours. Almeda should have been searched within a day since Alex said that is where he was during the murders.

As most of the T.V. lawyers have said tonight, once you are caught in a lie, whatever you say after that will be discounted by the jury. He told so many lies, they didn't believe anything he said. The man has no soul and is the picture of pure evil. The jury and prosecutors got it right. What a tragedy.

Unfortunately those 1,000 foot rolls of police tape don't go very far on a 1,700 acre crime scene.

He first claimed he wasn’t at the kennel. Ironically, his son that he killed (along with his wife) provided the key piece of evidence that proved he was there at the time of the killings. Alex had to change his story and why he took the stand to try clear up his original lies. His sons SnapChat video to a friend put him there and sealed his fate.
Proud of the jury’s verdict and the justice served for his wife and son (and his housekeeper, among others) that mysteriously met their tragic end.
Time doesn’t hide a fool. Although it took a long time, the smoke and mirrors of his many lies has cleared.

And that some piece of evidence finally tipped the scale. Even the judge said that the evidence was overwhelming.
It was so easy to see through all the lies.

And they are reopening the investigation into 2 other deaths - the housekeeper and his son’s friend who was found dead in the road near the estate.

found him guilty so fast.
A friend said that, apparently, the jury sat down at the table and the foreman called for a quick vote to see where everyone stood on the verdict. So, everyone said "guilty" and they went with it with no additional significant discussion.

Reputation being a factor even before the trial started. I know they say they found unbiased jurors but I’m sure they knew who he was and his reputation prior to serving on the panel. That’s why I believe it was such a quick deliberation.
