Xavier Thomas offers injury update

Xavier Thomas offered a positive outlook on social media for a foot injury after surgery recently:
"God is AMAZING!!!! Not even a week out of surgery yet. The healing is crazy fast!"
He was originally slated to be out 4-6 weeks after the surgery.

Week 5 would be the Tuesday before Wake Forest.
Week 6 would be the Tuesday before NC State.
You know he'd like to be back by Wake, but you KNOW he wants to be back by NC State.

far as moving up in the draft. GT, Furman and La Tech are the preseason.
Wake would be a good target week to return.

Not going to be back for the first 2 games (GT & Furman). No use in coming back the next week for La Tech either.
If the Dr's have cleared him by the week leading up to Wake, maybe it's a take him, dress him and let him go through warm ups and see how things are going. Keep him to really low snap count like 10-15 snaps if things are great.
Then, let him practice the next week, but keeping it light.
Then, turn him loose for about 30-35 plays vs NC State.

We were bad on Offense last year.
We're going to be MUCH better on O line, and Better at QB, RB, WR & TE.
Further GT lost any good players they had, and they sure as heck didn't upgrade through recruiting or transfer portal.
