Quick hitting passes with little decision making worked, got us ahead of the downs. Throwing the ball where the linebackers should be made them back off the run plays, running the ball (again quickly, no read options) worked. Also we got lucky with that great play by Shipley.


So: take away decisions, make the plays hit faster, success.

Much better play calling. Got in a rhythm. Made some good throws.

EXACTLY!!!! DJ plays much better when he’s just goes off instinct. When he thinks too much, trouble happens. Just play hurry up offense and let’s roll with it

he panicked and got out of it. Could have easily managed that by stepping forward, under the DE.
