CBS hack takes a pot shot at Dabo for Offensive failures and looking at who to blame. Says it's odd that G Riley made Max Duggan into a Heisman candidate but is having mixed returns at Clemson.
Fails to mention however that Duggan had 32 starts prior his senior season under Riley, while Cade only had 1 start prior to this season.
Are we at the point where it's simply clear that people are obsessing over taking down Dabo? Ridiculous comparisons such as this one hardly argue the suggestion....

The wanting Dabo to fail has definitely become a national narrative. Which is extremely odd. He may be opinionated and not use the portal like others, but there is not a nicer more genuine man you could pull for. People like Ryan Day and Dabo are compete opposite types of people to cheer for.

and his twitter pals understandably praising DJ's development so far at Oregon State and subtly or overtly criticizing his development at Clemson. But any success DJ has at Oregon State is partly because of his time at Clemson where he had 28 starts. That should be recognized and not criticized.

The real DJ is starting to emerge as the competition increases on their schedule. Nothing against him personally, but I just see the same guy we saw at Clemson over his last 2 games.

I’d say that is misapplied here. Don’t need to be a conspiracy theorist to think that journalism is essentially dead. And the Gell-Mann amnesia effect explains why people believe certain sources despite their obvious bias. Not an overarching “journalists are idiots”. That should make one distrustful of all news media.

They've(the sports media) mostly hated Dabo from the start because of a myriad of reasons which the average person/fan loves but they genuinely abhor.; same with some of of the "fans" which are thankfully in a VERY small minority.

A lot of the media has wanted Dabo to fail for a long time. He doesn't go along with their narratives. They can't conform him. Even a lot of the ones that pretend to like him don't. Who cares what the media thinks any more?

Dabo isn't getting a break or the benefit of the doubt from the media They only praise him when the results on the field are undeniable. The fact that some of you are honestly unaware of this at this late date is kind of laughable. Of course, Dabo spewing ridiculous coach speak often makes their jobs easier. Dabo needs to take a couple hints form Saban on this front.
