1. The caller should have been cut off when he got personal.
2. I am 99.9% sure that I would have been without a job if I had represented the University publicly in that manner--regardless of the circumstances. We received many, many lectures on that subject.

You can’t possibly expect anyone to believe you’ve worked at a University in the last 20 years while insisting Dabo broke some hard line. University employees make horses’ ##### out of themselves quite publicly on a near daily basis IRL and on social media in their official capacities and virtually never face any form of discipline. We have college professors publicly supporting Hamas (not Palestine, or Palestinians, but Hamas), a terror organization as designated by our government, and to date not one has been terminated. So let’s stop with the fake indignation.

He didn't call him a f word, didn't use the f bomb, didn't insult any of the protected groups, so he'll be fine.
Sure wasn't a good look though.
Wish he would've said: "I don't know how many times, I have asked my family members not to call!" Then everyone would've laughed it off.
But when someone that doesn't know you starts trying to humiliate you publicly? You get what you get.

do you think possibly it wasnt cut off because "tyler" could be a clemson intern or staffer? the whole thing was just to let dabo rant about comments being seen on social media or overheard by others? also to fire the team up a bit.
