Idk, I think of them more as obnoxious stuck up yanks. Penn St fanbase is surprisingly a lot like Clemson. H8 the biatch coach but not reflected of the fanbase which is primarily conservative rural folk.

There are rednecks everywhere and they are how stuff gets done, and provide day to day entertainment. I work with them and would trust them to look out for me.
Now, will we be looked at as the low brow bunch at the ball? Probably, due to regional bias, but they can think what they like, as long as we are kicking their butts!

Clemson would just have the Rednecks with the best manners.
In my travels I’ve encountered bonafide rednecks in OH, MI, IN, IL, WI, IA, MN, NE and PA….PA also has super weird alcohol laws. I guess the Quaker influences never completely lost hold.
Now that I think about it, rednecks pretty much exist everywhere.
