It's like hearing that first Christmas song of the year. You know it's too early, but it's still great to hear.

Yes, it's always good to hear about the fresh new talent that wanted to be a Tiger over anywhere else. But the truth is that we really won't learn that much about them until fall camp rolls around and we learn who will wear a redshirt, and who will get a chance to play next season. Personally I hope all of them will take full advantage of the summer work outs, and work hard at putting on or taking off the weight they will need to do for what every position they'll be playing. There will be some of our favorites during the recruiting process that we thought would come in and play right off that will be wearing a redshirt for whatever the reason, but it will happen and it always does. I say to all of them good luck, and that they will always get out of their training what they put into it, and I've learned over many years not to be very disappointed if one of my favorites didn't make it on the field their first season bc they will get there whenever their coaches believe they're ready and it won't be a day or a minute sooner. Go Tigers, and here is to hoping that some of the new guys can help our team to get back to the playoffs in the 2024 season...

so no one really jumps off the page in practice as of yet other than Sammy B.

I remember those reports back in the day where Sammy Watkins jumped off the page as better than everyone in practice as a true frosh. Then reports that a preferred walk-on in Hunter Renfrow was going to be hard to keep off the field b/c he made so many plays in early practices. Or this late add in Travis Etienne was looking far better that what he was billed as from the recruiting rankings and looks like he will contend for the starting RB position.. All those guys ended up as legends and contributors in their first year.

Spot on!!!
Have y'all seen that one handed TD grab by Randall. It was insane. Nice to hear that oline and wr may be our strength this year. Because we know we're OK on D and RB.
Can cade take advantage of this oline/wr strength. Guess we'll see.

LOL, that got a good chuckle out of me, can you really imagine that our O line and WRs being the strength on the offensive side of the ball, that would be a huge turn around!!!

David,
Somehow I missed it. When did Gipson tear ACL? First I have heard of it.

Yeah, I remember that in hs. But I was shocked and disappointed to hear the extensive list. Obviously missed a lot. Thought Burley was good to go. Also thought I remember Dabo saying Jay Haynes was a maybe for the bowl game... but sure was excited to see both he and Burley this spring game. And parks too. Wow. Because unfortunately we know that list will grow.

If you want to look forward to what one of these freshmen will do, just wait for fall ball, that's where the rubber will meet the road for the good or the bad...

Thanks for the update David. It is about time the receivers step it up so hopefully with a couple of these freshman receivers we have been hearing about it will help the group.

Plus Randall will have his hand 100%. Turner will be back. Everyone will be healthy. The two young studs will stretch the field at time like Turner and Randall will. We should be stacked.

Not to mention the OL will be better to give Cade more time.
