so they are looking at a number of qb's but none are in SC? I would think there would be at least couple from SC that might be worthy. Not a big deal just a bit surprising

Cutter Woods from Anderson (Westside) would have loved a Clemson offer, but they showed little interest. He has committed to Wake now.

I'm pretty sure the numbers at qb changed when we learned that Cade was probably gonna be a 4 or 5 year guy. It's no point in committing to a 5 star if the expectation is him sitting 2-3 years because in the portal era it just won't happen. So we recruit walk on's and low end 4 star guys who are prepared to sit.

How can you be so sure any 18 year old player will be your starter for 4 years?

There are so many things that come into play including their rate of development, maturity, confidence of their teammates in them, the play of competing teammates.

Cade needs a lot of improving to do. I saw 3 star qbs in the ACC that at times played better than Cade. I am not thrilled with Dabo’s comment that we can live with the mistakes(maybe a few). I think Pearman needs to be moved up to 2nd string and given a scholarship which Tyson should not have since he is student coach.

Maybe (hopefully) just trying to get Cade to play with more confidence...not worry about making mistakes...play loose but smart.

It’s been very difficult as a tiger fan going from Watson and Lawrence… To DJ U and Klub

He was by far the best qb in Spring game.

Why not give his dad a raise and use the schollie for a position of need?***

Former 5* Sam Huard is in the portal. Beaten out at Wash. He played last year at Cal Poly. Numbers very similar to CK2 so far. 2 years of eligibility left. Probably a West Coast guy but might be worth taking a chance on. Would he beat out CV17, Pearman and Hebert next year? I think so. Maybe we stand pat this year but if CK2 continues to improve I see Vizzina not wanting to wait any longer behind Cade.
