i keep reading others saying they are cautiously optimistic. I'm just optimistic. We have several pieces in place that have been missing. If, if we can stay healthy... I'm excited
Go tigers!

This team could end up being special, I hope we can at least end up in the final 4, I personally think we are capable of winning another National Championship this season. Let’s go!

Offensive line will be considerably improved this year, and I think running game will provide more of a consistent boost.

Remember last year? It was how amazing the O Line was. Funny to now hear how much it has improved. What’s it been a week of practices?
My point is don’t get to caught up in all the love and hype. With that said, I sure am glad to be getting news about football again! So believe me, I’m not upset or anything. Just not putting any weight into what is being reported.
Let’s see if we’re back to being “elite” when we play the dawgs. It’s been 3 or 4 years since we were very good / elite.
We’ll know opening night where we stand.

We will find out in the Georgia game if TigerNet is still giving out ‘Cotton Candy’ during the offseason.

The one thing that has bothered me more than about anything and it's small and may not seem bug to others but the fact the offensive linemen would not give a hand to the QB, RB or WR when getting off the ground was not acceptable. You'd watch other teams and their offensive linemen would run over to help their brothers up. When the play was over Clemson offensive linemen would turn around and just walk away. It's Dabo's fault and I love Dabo but he has preached no stupid penalties for so long I believe it ha hurt that area of team where your guys will not only protect one another but fight for one another. I understand not getting dumb penalties but when someone flexes over your guy or is barking over top of him I find it more than acceptable for an offensive linemen to come like a bat out of heck to lay said guy out. Really glad to see Luke at least bring back the offensive linemen helping guys up. Who knows Mayne next will see the offensive line actually protect their QB.

I don’t like to see that kind of reckless abandon from my players. Standing over a back flexing is a 15-yard-penalty every time. If they’re landing blows on a down player? Maybe lay them out. If you show you’re a thug those refs will always think you’re a thug. You lose the benefit of the doubt when you hit someone after the whistle. Let your play do the talking. Shut them up by blowing them away on the scoreboard. Anything else shows lack of character. Prime case in point: Deshaun Watson and company at Miami. Miami started trying to fight us at practices and talked so much junk. Clemson players just smiled and laughed. We beat the brakes of those Hurricanes. Message received and replied by showing them they weren’t in the same class. A dirty point beat down by an opponent who doesn’t take the bait is it’s own reward and punishment.
All that said, I agree with parts of your statements. We should be helping the skill guys up as lineman and vice versa. We need to do our talking with our game play. Just meekly point at the scoreboard and smile. Breaks their spirit every time.

I feel that I've said enough over the past two years about all the inexperience coaching hire that were given to X players and friends that had very little coaching experience and some with no on the field coaching experience.
But since Dabo has seen his mistakes with some of those hires and brought Garrett, Luke, and Rumph in, hopefully between those 3 very experienced hires they will be able to help out the few remaining inexperience coaches and bring them along little by little until they have gained enough of on the field coaching experience to be able to do a good job coaching by themselves, and if that works out for them, that will mean that they got lucky they weren't let go bc Dabo hired enough of experience in those 3 latest hires that can help cover the inexperience of those few left for as long as those last 3 hire will remain for a while bc Luke, Garrett and Rhump brought with them a ton of coaching experience to Clemson. I know that I hope that it ends up working for those without much experience bc one of those that wasn't axed, I care a lot for him and I have for a long time. Go Tigers, and heres to a really good 2024 season...

Any words on QB play? To me, that's been THE difference in whether we're "elite" over the last 4 years. As the QB goes, Clemson goes.
If Cade can play at a high level this year, we can be a Championship team. An elite QB is our missing link! Thoughts?

pluck the ball out of the air when he caught it. Is that how Wesco is catching passes? Is that what gets the comparison to Sammy?

over Buckeyes in 2014/15? Orange Bowl.
Saying, both teams were good, strong across the board but Sammy was the deal maker.

I actually watched the 2014 orange bowl. Heckuva game. Let of talent on that team and not nearly as many 5 stars as we have now. That high point Td is Wow. Martavis Bryant had an amazing catch. Tajh Boyd couldn't ever beat The coots but he beat Georgia and The buckeyes in the same season. There is reason for some excitement this year. Will the real Clemson Tigers Please stand up!!? Go Tigers!!!
