…failing to beat FSU in the regular season.
Then our stock would be through the roof!
It was obviously a huge mistake for us to actually beat FSU on the road, then win the ACC title in convincing fashion.
It got us invited to the Orange Bowl where we faced a top opponent. That’s no way to get ranked the following year.
What were we thinking?!

Yep. FSU struggled to win their last 2 games against teams that finished a combined 12-14, but are national title contenders. I’m so sick of hearing about FSU, it’s making me want LSU to blow them out.

On reading this it seems like a silly arbitrary rating. They are just rating teams on the number of returning players. Duke @ #2 is the tell.
