"IF" it takes a step back it would be a long year, but I don't believe for a second that we will be talking about our Tiger offense taking even a half step backwards. I'm personally believing that with Klubnik, Shipley, Mafah, and a healthier receiving group plus Garrett Riley, they will be replacing some LED bulbs on the new score/video board!!!

Hopefully not replacing the scoreboard's LED lights, but adding some.

It better be, it'll be a harder feat to get any worse. An above avg offense the last couple years and this was a playoff team. Hopefully they'll be right back where they need to be, and the WR's and O-line stepping up.

Dabo had to make a change. He did and the offense will be way way better for it. What worries me though is our defense. I'm not sold on the coordinator or his philosophy.

I feel the same way, I'm not anywhere near believing that Goodwin was the best choice after Brent Venable, but I would love it if I'm totally wrong, and I hope that I am!!!

When the offense repeatedly has '3 and out' drives, it kills the Defense. Our Defense will be fine if our offense just keeps moving the chains this year. We have the talent to have a top 10 defense, and an offense that can move the ball and SCORE.
This will be a memorable year for our Tigers!
Go Tigers, Whoop Dook!

You could literally see it in the faces of the defense.
Three and outs, 35 yd punts, and interceptions in the red zone. No sustained drones giving them some rest. Brutal.

We are in for a treat and I am excited. The last two years have been difficult at times, but we are still on a tear of a DOZEN consecutive ten-win seasons!
Be grateful that Dabo has such lofty standards that this is not good enough for his program. It is a great era to be a Tiger - we are blessed.

It will take more than 10 wins to get us back to where we were, a dozen 10 win seasons won't cut it!!!

If it is improved it will be from the maturity and experience of Cade Klubnik. The media is so obsessed with all things related to anybody named Riley and any QB that plays for a Riley is automatically a Heisman contender. At TCU he had a 5th year senior QB that was already good and he got all the credit. The playoff was undeserved as well. I hope for everyone's sake that Riley is that good, but I am going to have to see some evidence at Clemson. Not that my opinion really matters in the grand scheme of life.

Sounds like the Texan just has a bone to pick with Lincoln/Oklahoma and TCU.
In 2021, TCU had the 66th rated scoring offense and the 60th rated passing offense. Garrett Riley took over in December and in 2022, they had the 9th rated scoring offense and the 36th passing offense. Duggan went from 62% completions for 2048 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions to 64% completions for 3,698 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions.
Now, you can say it was a fluke or Johnson's improvement was to credit for that, but to say he's falsely getting credit for that improvement and that TCU didn't deserve a spot in the playoffs is stupid.
