Does South Carolina only list the starters because they have no depth behind them?

I think it's been that way for a while, it does still have the "or" designation though.

Seems if it was purely “or” then it might be alphabetical or by class. HJ brings an added dimension to the passing game. I’m not one to second guess the coaches, but I would like to see HJ mixed into the game plan (like FSU used to do for one of their QBs - Thad Busby maybe?).

'Command of the offense,' ring a bell?

If a qb is limited by which plays he's capable of running then a defense has a leg up. Imo, he HJ looks great when passing but otherwise he hasn't been effective. That might be circumstance but he seems to hand the ball off on option plays.

Yep... Dabo started Stoudt because DW4 didn't have "command"
Nov 20, 2017, 7:23 PM
|
|
Then miraculously, while sitting on the bench at FSU for the 1st 3 series and watching Stoudt toss a gimme TD pass into the dirt at Leggett's feet (in a game we lost in OT), Watson suddenly gained a "command of the offense" starting with the 4th series. But it was too late and it likely cost Clemson the game, the Atlantic crown, the ACC crown, and maybe a natty.
HJ has been perfect passing against 4 opponents placing every ball perfectly in the receivers hands, giving the receivers the best chance for yards-after-the-catch. He's 18-20 (90%) with 2TDs and he's run the ball well.
If HJ doesn't have command of the offense, then I'd like to see him not have command of it more often, because KB may have a "command of the offense" but he doesn't seem to have command of his throwing arm.

Hunter Johnson

He probably should be number 1, let alone battling for the 2 spot.
But yea, says "or". (Johnson/Cooper)
I would like to also see Overton moved to 1 #21

i think its great that Pinckney overtook Robinson
Nov 20, 2017, 10:27 AM

the last few games I've been wondering what has happened to Jabril Robinson bc he has had a pretty decent season. He was playing pretty good, but not great. He wasn't blowing anyone back or anything but he was serviceable. but the last 2 games Pinckney has been living in the backfield. He def. reminds me of Grady Jarret.
Its going to be fun to watch the next few seasons on that Dline

I'm guessing T's issues are blocking or route running. IMO, either way we're good.
