If you are a sitting President speaking to other high ranking officials on foreign land ....you would think he or she would do it in their one favorite good suit.
No ....this guy .....does his thing in a sweatshirt and jeans.
Even Dabo addressed the media about signing day in a suit.
Can't really knock Zelenskyy for it because he looked extremely comfortable in his sweatshirt speaking in Washington DC. I've just never seen that before from any sitting President wear anything like that speaking in front of his peers inside an official highly established iconic type of government building.

I think based on my observations he wants and maybe a person who wants to be a man of all the people and not add any special trappings .

He normally wears a good suit, but not since the war started. I respect it. His soldiers are going through hell. No suit was needed.

definitely a very conscious choice, intended to signal a specific message. Nobody thinks anything otherwise, but I don't blame him, and I respect that message. His country is under attack, and even though he's the president, he's still one of the people. As long as he's in the right, and on the right side here, I don't have a problem with that kind of symbolism.

As of November, the U.S. has given Ukraine about $68 Billion in humanitarian and military aid and have offered another $1.8 Biliion in new weapons and Zelenskyy says it's NOT enough. SMH

Meaningless, nor did anyone care. It's a little more of a serious situation tban something as trivial as a suit. He was not undressed in the situation. It was intentional anyway.

I used to wear suits and dress up to meet with people. I learned long ago that people are not comfortable talking to you if you're dressed up. I wear khakis and a polo shirt now. The suit thing is way overrated. I still wear them in court but not when I'm meeting with regular people.
