Unscientific Pole - ACC or Brownell?

If I am reading the posts correctly, the GOR penalty for leaving the ACC would be about $120 million and Coach Brownell’s contract buyout is about $3 million.

Question - which would be the best place for the University to spend it’s money?

I think $120 million is the exit fee. After exiting we'd forfeit GOR. The total is closer to $300 million

Hire a high school coach or Div. III for $300K per year. Make no pretense of trying to compete in basketball. This will be comparable to most of ACC Football programs. Put the savings into football and other programs
