Watsons speed

Jan 8, 2016, 11:24 PM

I just read the article from Greg McElroy and he said Deshaun has 4.4 speed earlier I heard an announcer of one of the games say he had elite speed.
Walt Deptula always says he is kind of slow 4:8 or 4:9. Which is it?
He looks fast to me but maybe not 4:4 but 4:5 I think. Anybody know?

He is a lot faster than 4.8.

Saw the article and was doubtful of 4.4 he's got such an easy glide he does not appear that fast....but seems to be out front. As long as he doesn't get caught ...don't care!

Probably around 4.7ish. Kelly Bryant is a 4.5 guy.

I heard he's got SEC type speed.

Yea, he's a 4.6 guy at the very best

Not sure where McIlroy is getting 4.4 speed from. Kelly Bryant might have that type of speed but not DW.

I'd say he's in the 4.7-4.8 range. It's a reason why he never pulls away on long runs.***

He might be able to run fast in a sprint environment, but he definitely doesn't rely on his speed when he runs. Watson has great vision on the field and finds spaces to run to. He's got Jedi speed, he can see where the defenders will be and finds the spot where they won't be.

Just trying to make it sound like a good excuse for when we beat Bama. Trying to stereotype DW into being a fast, black QB that can't through. Just how they roll

Why did you have to bring race into it? Smh!!!

If Walt said it it must be true.***

4.8 coming out of HS and probably got that down but now with the knee surgery i would say he probably hovers around 4.7 or 4.8 he just knows where to go when to go. He just has that it factor. He makes plays and makes himself seem faster than he is. DW4 is the definition of elusive. He is just a freak of nature when put between the sidelines.
