We've lost so much respect since 2020

There was a time that ESPN would have put even our bye week on a six day hold

The last thing I am worried about these days is what ESPN thinks of us. We are starting to build some momentum and I believe it will carry through the rest of this season and set us up for a special season in 2024.

"they" have always had it out for dabo a little bit i think the big corporate media, although even the coaches poll shows him disrespect in my opinion at times also.

Big media has always loved the build up tear down narrative, makes for good talk/ratings. Dabo does have to take his fair share of the blame though, he wasted 2 valuable years with the DJ project, which basically burned his WRU bridge down to the ground then holding on to unqualified assistants too long, all the while getting mad at the fans for questioning it all.

I think Clemson is on the rise again, sometimes Dabo is a slow and stubborn learner but he has results. I think the frustrating thing to Clemson fans is the media frames someone like Ryan Day as a genius, a guy who hasn't won his conference in 4 years and zero national titles lost by 4 touchdowns in the one covid year he made it, that he only had to play 6 games to get there.

ESPN is owned by Disney which is run by a multitude of far-left leaning liberals. You can't watch anything made by Disney in the last decade without discerning major aspects of the liberal agenda. It's not difficult to make a connection as to why they would have it out for someone like Dabo who is quite vocal about his values. He makes a very appealing target for the liberals.

Before you accuse me, know that I have already placed my tinfoil hat firmly on my head.

Dabo has never expressed his political beliefs

Nor will he, as it’s his policy to not create distractions for the team. Also, right wingers don’t own Christianity. There are plenty of moderate and liberal Christians.

you are correct but i do want to point out the 3 biggest owners of disney are Vanguard, Blackrock and Statestreet i also want to point out than when many of you talk about the Big10 vs SEC tv contract wars, i want you to be aware that Disney( which also owns espn) also bought fox in 2019 for 71 billion dollars. and there are no liberal or conservative tv networks, there is only uniparty rainbow flavors of the same lollipop.

Disney just bought fox movie studios

Blackrock owns 15.1% of the Fox Corporation. They are the second largest owner, just after the Murdock family.

Now, the Family Trust Murdoch still owns 19% of the company, with other, smaller institutional investors owning the rest. The CEO of the Fox Corporation was Rupert Murdoch, but it is currently Lachlan Murdoch.

BUT with this increase in 2.7% of Fox Corp, it is clear that Blackrock is fast becoming a controlling entity in Fox Corporation.

Together, BlackRock and Vanguard own 18% of Fox (now almost 21%), 16% of CBS, 13% of Comcast — which owns NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, and the Sky media group, 12% of CNN, and 12% of Disney — which owns a number of subsidiaries. Media behemoths that may present themselves as rivals are, in reality, owned by the same company.
