No problem with Auburn? Auburn led 21-7 and we didn't

clinch the win until a late intercept. We did dominate after 21-7 start though.
Nice read though.

Auburn was overmatched. It just took us a while to figure it out. We win that game 10 of 10 times and many wouldn't have been close. Auburn wasn't the problem. however, our slow start was very much a problem.
The end of the 2nd quarter was a milestone in Dabo's program IMO.

the SEC advantage really stinks..

This notion that any SEC team w/ one loss is always better than any other team in the nation w/ one loss hurts us badly. So if we beat GA and FSU, lose to USC, win ACCC, we would not have a chance at NC game, yet if GA loses to us and goes on to win SEC east and SEC championshiop they will get in the NC game. I hope it does not work that way, but it could, and seems unfair as anything.

We will, but if we are not, win a BCS bowl, and at 14-0, I will be smiling through the tears; however, I repeat, we will be there!

or LSU or UGA or SC or A&M lose to UK or Troy or UNC or Wake or Iowa State like OSU did two years ago, no way they're in front of other undefeated powerhouses from other conferences.
If they lose to us or FSU or each other, then you'd be right, they probably get the benefit of the doubt.
Also, if we lose to UGA early but beat FSU and then SC late, we could still get there, but it'd be tough.

we're on the same page buddy. UGA can absolutely lose to us and make it to the NC (even though IMO they lose to LSU and the Coots as well). We lose 1 game to anyone, barring circumstances I haven't even begun to imagine, and we won't sniff the NCG. LSU can lose two games in a season and somehow be, "National Champions". 4 teams is a step in the right direction, but an 8 and hopefully an eventual 16 team playoff can't get here fast enough as far as I'm concerned. No more BCS! If the FCS has figured it out why can't the, "Big 5" Conferences! I'll answer my own question........$$$$$$$$$. It's so ridiculous that we're still deciding a NC differently than pretty much every other sport......as well as the same sport played at a (for lack of a better term), "less prestigious level." GO TIGERS! SPOT THE BALL!

It's the pundits who split all the one loss SEC vs whomever discussions. What matters is who you beat, who you lose to and when. We can't make the nag losing to the ##### or in the cog, but we might survive a loss to Maryland under the right circumstances. The SEC strength would help us if we beat the strength of the east even with a slip up game on the road. Of course, Maryland would have to do fairly well like AM last year.

I don't care who we play, who other teams play, or what kind of pants we should wear. At the end of the day when you look at a player on the field you see a number on the jersey, Behind that jersey is a human being. Which makes him no more invincable than the other 11 guys on the other side of the field. Go out there and play your game, use your gameplan, change things up for no one and take whoever it is on the other side of the field to the woodshed! Go Tigers!
