What is going on @ FSU

6 Coaches gone and 2 4*+ decommits in the last couple of days.
Granted weve had decommits too and some of the coaches got promotions but it just seems like a lot of change.

All but the OC was a promotion and he really had no power at FSU running Fishers offense. The recruiting problems stem from the coaches leaving. I don't think it is a larger problem just a bad sequence of events. Well I guess good for us.

Yeah maybe it is just a lot of turnover all happening at the same time. That staff has had very little change the last several years. I would say we could perhaps capitalize and put some distance between us and them during this time the same way SCar got a jump on us when we fired bowden but I suppose when Chad leaves we will have some holes to patch as well.

really the ACC in general. I hate the fact that Boston College, Miami, FSU, and North Carolina are all down and pretty much non factors. Even GT used to be good (2006) and VT has underacheived consistantly for the past 4 years.

The bigger problem for ACC is the trio that is down...

....VT will probably still have a lousy offense in '13.

FSU will be figuring out how to rebuild their offense around either a 3rd year QB who wasn't that great or a new RS who was highly ranked. They do get back a good deal of their receivers and backs.

Miami is still an NCAA mess - on BOTH sides of the matter!! But they had very small attrition and could build on their history for recruiting. But it probably won't be this year....

What ACC team is left that could really be a contender and boost the ACC in national profile? NCState is still digging out of a hole. It's too early to tell for Syracuse, but it won't likely be that big a boost just yet. Not Pitt....And Louisville is not a factor yet.
