*Choklahoma won't make it next year if anyone else is reasonably close. OSU, Bama, Clemson for sure.
Possibles: Florida, Georgia, Utah, ND, Texas or **South Carolina.
*AKA University of Oklahoma at Norman.
**makes CFP if the field is expanded to 96 team field only.

They lose a lot, including Herbert.
Not so sure. I think Utah could run through the Pac12 next year.
Id go with Clemson, Bama, Ohio State, then throw in Oklahoma too.

#1 - Ohio State - They lose a very good RB and some key defensive players but I think that team returns largely in tact. I think they are the only lock to return.
Clemson - There are probably more questions than we care to admit at this point. Turning over 80% of the OL is never ideal. In addition 4 of the back 7 we depended on so much last year are gone, including Simmons who made a lot of that scheme work. The offensive skill positions will largely be in tact, though Higgins will be greatly missed and someone will need to step up as the clutch WR next year. The good news is that outside of ND on the road, the team should have time to come together. We get the best ACC teams at home (UVA, Louisville)
SEC Champ - I'm having a tough time really figuring out who this will be next year. I see lot of Bama on here. Lets be honest, Bama hasn't won a game with it's defense in 2 years. And they took big losses on offense. Najee Harris returning helps, but Losing Tua, Jeudy and Ruggs (3 1st rounders) is hard to duplicate. Yes they still have 2 good WR's and Jones looked to be a good QB, but it's easier to be a good QB with 4 NFL caliber WR's than with just 2. I don't know their depth well enough but I think their offense has to take a step back.
Fortunately for Bama, LSU has the same problem, losing a significant amount of offensive talent. Auburn may have an early edge with a returning QB, but they take some key defensive losses up front. A&M is another team with a vet QB that could step up if Bama and LSU's offenses don't gel as quickly as expected.
On the east, it's down to FLA GA. If UGA is really committed to opening up their offense with Newman, they've got the talent to win the SEC. I'm just not sure if Kirby (like Saban) can fully commit to opening up the offense. UGA WR's are also a question. I still see FLA as a good not elite team, but if they get some luck they have a seasoned QB and a talented roster.
Oklahoma - basically same problem as LSU/Bama. You lose so much of your offense. I could argue that losing Jalen Hurts may actually be beneficial, but Lamb will be a big hole to fill. They also lose key defensive pieces.
Penn State - The only issue here is that they'll likely have to overcome a loss to OSU which will eliminate them from the conference title. But I think on paper they come in as one of top 6 teams in the country.
If I had to pick 4 best from that lot right now , it's probably OSU, Clemson, Penn St, UGA.

I have no issue picking osu in fact I think they may go, but in no way do they return in tact. They are being gutted pretty bad (not as bad as LSU)

I realize Young, Okudah and Dobbins are big losses, but there was a lot of talent on that defense. While their secondary isn't likely to be as good, I don't think they lose as much depth as we do on the back end. I think in that scheme RB, isn't a position of emphasis so while losing Dobbins hurts I think they'll manage. I think they lose one impact WR but they've got plenty of depth there.
I just think that given the losses that the other playoff caliber teams are dealing with, OSU is losing less than most.

Like most folks have posted, the top 3 are somewhat straight forward: Clemson Ohio State Alabama
Number 4 is the big question mark. Oklahoma, who seems to use the transfer portal as their QB development tool will be shopping for yet another ace QB to drive the Lincoln Riley system. Eventually their transfer portal luck is going to run out and the Oklahoma offense won't be able to sustain their success. When that happens, Oklahoma is going to nose dive because we already know their defense is hot garbage.
I'm not quite buying Oregon either - they have to replace a 3 year starter at QB and that is no easy task. Maybe they are good enough to win the anemic PAC12 maybe not...
At this point, the number 4 team could be some as yet unknown team (maybe Baylor?) but I don't think the SEC will get two teams in - UGA and UF won't be nearly as good as their hype and early season media driven rankings will put forth. In fact, I would not be surprised if UGA lost 4 games next year.

Clemson, I’m picking bama because I don’t like lsu or uga next year, I’ve got Florida winning the East but don’t see them beating bama. Big Ten it’s hard to pick against osu so they are my pick but keep hearing PSU will be legit. So the winner of osu psu wins big 10 and goes.
I’m going to take pac12 winner as my 4th team, just have a feeling they go this time instead of big 12. But need to study the league more, Oregon would be the default pick but they lost a good QB.
