I ask because I don’t know.

In order of importance; 1) Pray. 2) Change quarterbacks. 3) Have T.E. devise new game plan, or call the plays himself. That is about all he can do this week. Next season; 4)Start a search for a new Offensive Coordinator. 5) Ask Jeff ,and Brad to return. Brad could be up in the box, Jeff on the field.

Agreed. Dabo “realizing” we have a major OC/coaching problem is the first step to any of your recommended solutions. Blaming our players and screaming at our D that have played their a$$es off won’t cut it.
“I can assure you we don’t stink” - really? The offense, the OC and the coaching (minus V and the D) surely does and all can clearly see.
It will be a very long year with lows we haven’t seen in years. It starts with Dabo realizing the obvious and making the much needed changes, both long and short term.

You have an offensive coaching staff that has absolutely no idea what to do to fix any of this. None, zero. They have gotten what I call successfully complacent. We are in the downturn now and things won't start happening until we bottom out. That's the point we fire Dabo and start to rebuild again. Bottom line is he is the root of all the problems.

What Dabo Swinney should do:
Complete and total reorganization of the program from the top down:
- Bring in a new OC, OL coach, QB coach, and be willing to look at the transfer portal legitimately.
TE is a great man but needs to go and needs to go now. Everyone sees that the offense is antiquated and if no moves are made you could lose the team entirely. Bring in a new OC from outside the program who has experience and let them be the BV of the offense. Find one who can be your OC and QB coach and if you combine TE with Pearman's salary that's $2.25M budget which would be the 2nd highest in college football. Then move Streeter over to be head of recruiting and the transfer portal so he oversees everything so there is 1 voice on offense and 1 voice on defense.
As for OL we've said for years if we could just control the line of scrimmage against good teams we'd be unstoppable. Go after Wisconsin, Iowa, ND, Bama, etc. and hire their OL coach.
- Change hiring philosophy from emphasizing former players with limited/no coaching experience to those with coordinator, HC, and NFL experience. Only bring on former players as graduate assistants, Paw Journey, analysts, etc. If former players are truly brought on to police the culture that's fine but this is why we continuously get out-coached by almost every single team.
- Limit seniority favoritism/coaches kids' getting significant playing time over far more talented players. There is no reason at all the Swinney's should be getting all that playing time consistently. I'm all for being able to play a lot of players to help keep them engaged and build depth but when you pride yourself as WRU these are scout team players that have no business seeing the field if we're not up by 28+ points.
- Don't blame fans/media for being keyboard warriors who have supported the team long before we were winning national championships. We understand you won't win every game and can't win the natty every year either but a performance like that is disgraceful and the only thing worse is that if it doesn't cause everyone to take a look in the mirror and make some changes.

What needs to be done can’t be done in a week.

No clue. I don't make 10 million per year nor do I do Harley commercials. If I did, I may have the answer. One answer lies in my first sentence, it ain't the 10 million dollars.
