Where do you dapper fellas get suits?

I don't want a million items from Jos A Bank for $18 like @fwould.
I don't want a patagucci suit like Greenr
And I most definitely don't want one of RH Tig's skinsuits
Just looking for something middle of the road and I haven't bought one in quite a while.
Is Belk my best bet? I'm not sure I want to get some custom thing from a tailor.
Standard grey/black is what I'm in the market for.

going to prove difficult on Sullivan's Island. fluffhead may have to venture out to one of the lesser areas of Greater Charleston like IOP or even worse, Mount Pleasant, to get that kind of suit tailored to suit his needs.
Agree 100% on the stylishness of it though.

Last time I had to "dress up" I wore a blue blazer and dress slacks. I bought a suit around 15 years ago, and I'm sure it's horribly out of style and probably wouldn't fit anyway. I probably should have one, just in case, so I will be following, but I wouldn't plunk down a whole bunch for one either.

I only work part-time, and my job is extremely casual, and the last time I went to church only a handful of really old people and self-important snobs were wearing suits. I'm old school though, and can hear my mother's voice telling me "You need a good suit!".

I just got a Haggar suit over the weekend at Kohls. After a 4 week wait for the Teams interview, they turned around on Friday and told me my final interview with one of the SVPs was tomorrow. So no time for any tailoring, and my other suit was tailored for my pre-Covid waistline.
But it fits decently. I’m happy with it as a regular Joe suit.

Made in Bangladesh, which is renown for their fine seersucker... made with gen-u-ine seers.
Wore it to countless weddings, before I barfed all in it and ruint it. The fine seer material couldn't stand up to my barf with a pH of -5. A sleeve completely rotted off of it.
I kept the $999 tag on it and let it hang out of the pocket. When folks would point it out to me, I'd say... "oh, how embarrassing that I left the tag on my $1000 suit!" Made for a pretty good party joke - especially after everyone heard me say it a dozen times.
Real answer - probably Belk.
