Dabo had tremendous success and became overconfident in his way and his people. He failed to realize that generational talent is as important, if not more important, than having good people and loving each other.

Now that we don’t have generational talent, we see who we really are. The last three years have been disappointing, and have shown us that we are no longer an elite program. We’ve gone from an overachieving program to an underachieving program. Thankfully, we continue to benefit greatly from a weak ACC and weak schedule overall.

I’m still trying to figure out if Dabo truly believes everything is fine, or if he knows it isn’t but is still figuring out how to fix it.

I believe that we should be better than this, based on our talent level and what we invest in the program.

All isn’t lost. This is just one game. We can still have a good year, and the team deserves our continued support. But based on what I saw tonight, I don’t see us as a playoff team. I don’t see us winning the ACC either.
