I know it’s unlikely but anyone think he might come back? He’s had a great season and career but I think he’s kinda lived in Trotter’s shadow a little bit this year. I think another year would improve his draft stock tremendously

Right now his NFL projection is late first round. Biggest concern is wrapping up his tackles. If his draft grade confirms the projection then I’d say he is gone.

No way he gets a first round grade. Probably a 3rd round grade would be my guess.

But if he’s a first or second round guy than I believe it would be in his best interest to go ahead and start playing on Sundays.

If he is projected as a first or second round pick he is gone. If not, most likely he will return for another season.

Some of y'all were saying the same last year about Bresee...dude still went in the 1st RD.

Production wise is BC a 1st Rd pick? No.

However, he's got measurables and tape of himself playing at a high level so that alone is going to keep him as a 1st-2nd RD projection. Dude has a HIGH ceiling that's gonna be tough to just pass up on by someone in the draft on day 1 or day 2.

That said...I'd love to see him come back. He's got top 10 potential if he were to play up to what we've been waiting to see consistently all year.

Breese is a pass rusher, Carter is an off ball linebacker. More value on guys that rush the passer. Carter will probably be a 2nd or 3rd round pick unless he runs a freaky 40 and jumps to the moon.(very possible I will admit)

If BC is faster and bigger, chances are he's drafted before the smaller Trotter. Travon Walker was 8th on UGA in tackles in 2021 and the #1 NFL pick.

Because Walker's intangibles are completely off the charts. 6'5 and 275 LBs and was clocked at a 4.5 40....as a freakin DL!! Truth is Carter isn't very good. Fundamentally and from a technical stand point he is taken a step back...If he leaves for the draft it'll be a mistake.
